Tesamorelin
GHRH analog studied for reducing visceral fat in metabolic research.
Overview
Tesamorelin is a stabilized synthetic analog of GHRH in which the native peptide is conjugated to a trans-3-hexenoic acid moiety at the N-terminus, protecting it from enzymatic degradation and enhancing its stability. It is the only GHRH analog with FDA approval (for HIV-associated lipodystrophy), making it one of the most clinically validated GHRH analogs available for research.
Tesamorelin acts on pituitary GHRH receptors to stimulate GH release, which subsequently reduces visceral adipose tissue (VAT) through enhanced lipolysis. It is studied in models of metabolic syndrome, visceral obesity, and lipodystrophy, and has demonstrated significant reductions in VAT in multiple clinical trials.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder. Store at 2–8 °C on receipt; protect from heat, light and moisture, and avoid excessive agitation. If reconstitution is required for laboratory work, use sterile technique — bacteriostatic water, or 0.6% acetic acid for low-solubility peptides. Protocols vary by research application.
